Finished v-stitch crochet blanket

Well I finished it eventually.

Decided I didn't like the green after all, so I did another round in the orange and finished it with a nice deep row in turquoise.

I love it as it is, but then again I might just carry on and add more rows.

But that's the thing with crochet borders, there is no limit....

  2. You should be able to find it if you search on Google or on
Youtube. You just make a foundation chain row as wide as you want the blanket of multiples of three stitches plus one. So you could make the row say, 151 stitches wide. Crochet 3 chain, 1 dc into the 5th chain from the hook, 1 chain, 1 dc into the same chain. *Then miss one foundation chain and make 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc into the next foundation chain*. Repeat from * to * across the row.

Turn the work make three chain, then make 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc into each centre chain of the previous rows V-stitch across the row. Keep turning at the end and repeating. You can change the colours at the end of each or subsequent rows if you wish. I used DK yarn and a size 5mm crochet hook.
